For more information on how to get involved, the Public Access room is an important resource provided by the Capitol for the public free of charge.
The Public Access Room (PAR) is located on the 4th floor of the Hawaii State Capitol. PAR is a public resource available for you to be involved in the legislative process. Resources include computers and office supplies to prepare testimony for legislative committees, large-print reading materials, complete Session Laws, and more.
When visiting the State Capitol, you may park in one of the metered parking stalls in the underground parking garage (accessible via Miller Street off of Punchbowl Street). If the public metered parking at the State Capitol is full, there are additional outdoor metered stalls on the nearby Iolani Palace grounds.
